  Guidelines

 

  • The Little Angel Foundation will consider grants to organizations that serve abused women and children and at-risk youth.
  • The Foundation will not consider unsolicited proposals. 
  • The organization must be designated by the Internal Revenue Service as tax exempt under 501 (c) (3) of the Code.
  • WE WILL NOT BE REVIEWING LETTERS OF INQUIRY UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.  GRANT FUNDS WILL PRIMARILY BE USED TO FURTHER OUR MISSION THROUGH CURRENT GRANTEES.  ANY CHANGE TO THIS POLICY WILL BE UPDATED ON THIS WEB SITE.
  • Preference will be given to those organizations whose operating budget is less than three million dollars.  Organizations whose budgets are less than three million dollars but are part of a national organization may not be considered.
  • If the guidelines above are satisfactorily met, the Foundation will request to meet with the organization to become acquainted with some personnel and to see the facilities.
  • A grant application form will be provided to those organizations most able to provide the program services that reflect the goals of the Foundation.
  • Proposals will be considered twice during the year from organizations generally within the greater Chicago area.  Deadlines for submitting proposals are May 1 and October 1.
  • The application for grant support can be accessed here.  Proposals will be reviewed only from those organizations that have been invited to submit the application.
